The recrystallisation and grain growth CNRS research group holds its 2020 workshop at Les Houches School of Physics, at Les Houches (Haute-Savoie, France) from 27-31 January 2020.
The workshop consists in invited talks given by French and international experts, contributed talks, discussions and practical sessions (software, data analysis, etc.). One of the sessions is organised exclusively by junior researchers (PhD students and postdocs).
The workshop will include 4 thematic sessions : fundamental mecanisms, recrystallisation in the industrial context, experimental characterization and simulation.
Invited talks will be given by Marc Legros, Marc Bernacki, Cecilia Poletti, Hakan Halberg and Benoit Appolaire.
Participants may arrive on site from 26 January 2020 at 3:00pm.
The workshop activities are organised on the mornings and late afternoons (and once in the evening). Afternoons are left free for relaxation, discussions or outdoor activities.
The number of participants is limited to 70. The submission call is now closed, but registration remains open.
